About · So, who are we?

A little mahjong club with big plans.

Hi, I'm Sameen! The girl who discovered mahjong, became borderline obsessed with it and then decided that apparently playing it wasn't enough. I needed to make a whole thing out of it. 😂

And so, Mahjong Social Lahore was born!

I've spent an embarrassing number of hours playing, accumulated more sets than any reasonable person needs and have now taken it upon myself to get Lahore playing too.

Why play here

Teaching is just the beginning.

I want people to have somewhere to PLAY. Because what's the point of learning if you have nobody to play with?

Think socials, mixers, new friends, old friends, a little strategy, a lot of laughs and the occasional person taking a discarded tile very personally. 😜

Whether you haven't the faintest clue what mahjong is or you're already a bit of a shark, there's room for you.
